The SMA Webconnect monitoring solution is Ideally suited for online monitoring of small PV plants with a maximum number of up to four inverters: Webconnect provides free access to Sunny Portal without additional data logger – easily via an existing Internet access and a DSL router. After the simple installation of the inverter interface which is optionally available or already integrated at the factory, it’s plug-n-play solution. Once configured, key plant data can be accessed and displayed in a clear format whenever you need it. Moreover, automatic product updates ensure that the device firmware is always up-to-date.

Kingspan Launch it's new 15kw turbine 29.04.13


Kingspan Wind is launching its new, much anticipated, high performance KW15 wind turbine, details of which will be made public for the first time at the All-Energy Exhibition & Conference, 22-23 May 2013. We will also be providing information about its new free insurance package– believed to be the most comprehensive on the market – as well as advice on finance and the ease with which landowners can achieve planning permission for small turbines.

 

The KW15 is the latest addition to Kingspan Wind’s acclaimed small turbine portfolio and the launch is expected to generate enormous interest, particularly among agricultural and rural communities. The company’s other turbines, the KW3 and KW6, already enjoy worldwide popularity, with over 4,400 currently operating in 60 countries, many with more than 20 years’ continuous operation.

24.04.13 245kw System completed for Micropress Printers Ltd

 

Micropress Printers Ltd.

Abel Energy has completed the installation of a 245kw Solar PV array on the roof of Micropress Printers ltd. The array consists of JA Solar modules and SMA Tri-power inverters with remote monitoring.

Micopress will use the majority of the energy that the system produces, dramatically reducing their energy bills, they will also benefit from the feed in tariff and export payments.

09.11.12 SMA launches new solar monitoring device

SMA Solar has launched its new domestic solar monitoring device, the Sunny View. The Sunny View device will show users live generation data by connecting with up to twelve inverters using Bluetooth technology.

The portable 5” touch screen display clearly displays electricity yield and CO2 avoidance, allowing users to maximise their investment by smartly controlling their consumption. The inbuilt SD card slot allows data to be retrieved and downloaded from an inverter for further, detailed analysis. The system’s inbuilt audio and visual alarm also provides customers with a clear warning if there is a problem with the solar array. 

However, the Sunny view is not only limited to PV data. The display is also capable of pulling down various other online data including, news, weather forecasts and even social networking feeds.
