Waste Wood Boilers and Waste Incineration.
Abel Energy offers a range of waste wood biomass boilers and wood waste incinerator solutions for waste recycling centres, factories and workshops. We offer a complete turn-key package to handle Grade A, B and C waste wood in the fuel form of chip, shavings, shredded, pellet and sawdust materials.
Under current Environment Agency regulations, it is possible to burn Grade A, B and C waste wood to generate energy for a heating, drying or industrial process. This process is eligible for the Government funded RHI (renewable heat incentive).
Our installations are designed specifically to the client requirement. We are able to supply waste wood incineration boilers that circulate Hot Water, Thermal Oils and Steam to suit your required heat load or electrical load when combined with an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC).
Drying equipment such as continuous belt driers or drying floors can be incorporated into the Biomass system to be used for the drying of wood chip, shavings, sawdust, Solid Recoverd fuel (SRF), refuse derived fuel (RDF), municipal solid waste (MSW) and MRF.
As part of the turn key package Abel Energy offers assistance with gaining local authority and Environment Agency approval for burning waste in accordance with the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) 2010/75.Eu. As well as assistance with the RHI applications and Independent heat metering reports.
A part B permit from the local authority will be required for Grade A waste wood.
A SWIP Part A permit application from the Environment Agency is required to burn Grade C waste wood.
